The OMEGA EUROPEAN MASTERS is committed to promoting sustainable development by taking the following measures:

• by joining with SBB, the Swiss rail company, to offer spectators a combined train + entrance ticket at a 20% discount (RailAway)
• by encouraging spectators to car share where possible (E-covoiturage.ch)
• by limiting official transfers to Sierre station only - all airport transfers will be by train
• by offering accommodation located close to the event, which means fewer journeys by motor vehicle
• by using only electric cars for the tournament organisers on the golf course
• by providing waste sorting facilities (PET)
• by using recyclable crockery
• By only using renewable electricity, entirely produced by mini-hydroelectric plants in central Wallis
